Today I feel happy to introduce YGM series high-pressure suspension grinding mill to all of you.
YGM series high-pressure suspension grinding mill
Many customers asked me so many questions about this mill before, like the history of this mill, like the workable material, the suitable feeding size, the suitable feeding moisture, the output size, capacity, installation, dust, noise many questions.. so today I will explain to all of you about these items&these question one by one very clearly.
Our YGM series high-pressure grinding mill is upgraded from the traditional Raymond mill, you know the Raymond mill already existed in the world for over 100 years, and first time produced by C.V.Grueber in Berlin of Germany. Finally, from the years passed, many countries guys try to improve this machine, and finally, it has different names, like VR mill, YGM, MTM, MTW, this kind of series, but our company still called this machine to be YGM, because YGM is the first name that we started to produce this machine.
YGM mill is suitable to kinds of material, whose moh’s hardness is smaller than 9, such as bauxite, manganese, iron oxide, barite these kinds of stones.
We suggest the feeding moisture is smaller than 6%, but normally smaller moisture will have a bigger capacity because the moisture will affect the working electric current of the mill, but in a word, there is no big difference for the capacity, no matter the feeding moisture is 1%,3% or more like that, this is also the advantage of this machine.
If you feed hard material, we suggest the feeding size smaller than 15mm, like 5-15mm this size is the best feeding size after we made many experiments. If you feed the soft material like calcium carbonate, barite this kind of material, then the feeding size just smaller than 20 mm will be ok, but the feeding size can’t be all smaller than 1mm size like you can not feed the powder or all be sand to this machine, because of two reasons, firstly if you feed too small material to this machine, the material can not be kept between roller and ring, so it can not crush or impact the material, the second reason is
the vibration of the machine will be very high and it will damage the machine, and in the same time, you can not feed the large size material, like all the material size bigger than 20mm size, we also don’t suggest that. If the material is too big, then the roller and ring of the machine, the inside grinding chamber will be easily blocked
For the YGM grinding mill, It can make 33micron to 613 microns size ( 30-400 mesh), we can adjust it between this range. For traditional Raymond mill, it can not make 33 microns, this fine size, but for our YGM mill, we use the new turbo type classifier for this machine, so it can separate 33 microns size out, it is about 400 mesh, with over 90% passing through rate. Also, if you want to make a very coarse size, like 600 microns size, then we can reduce the running speed of the classifier, and also enlarge the blower air capacity to make capacity bigger, and also the size will be coarser a lot.
For our YGM mill, this machine normally can easily work about 10-15 years easily, but if you grind hard material very often, the lifetime will be also shorter. As for spare parts, it is the same principle, if you grind soft material, the lifetime will be very long, but for hard material, the lifetime also will be shorter.
Many customers very cared about the noise and the dust, because of local strict environmental policy. Let me tell you the noise for this machine, see, for example, when the machine is working, I am standing nearby the machine within 1 meter, then a sound can be smaller than 90dB. And if the distance is about 10 meters, then the sound can be controlled to smaller than 75dB. This sound can be easily accepted by many developed countries. So it is ok for the noise.
As for the dust, why the machine has dust, let’s think about where is the dust come out, firstly is from the crushing parts, when you feed the stones to the crusher, there is dust out, and also the feeding parts from the vibrating feeder to the mill, it also has dust out. And also the silo inlet, also has dust and also the packing parts, these four parts totally, for the YGM grinding mill, there is no dust out, because you can see this whole line, the whole production line is a close working system, it has the negative pressure and positive pressure, you can see the air will go inside from feeding parts to the mill, and then air go to cyclone collector, and then to the blower, and then again to the mill, so it is a cyclic system, the air will be recycling in the system, so the dust only come out from that four parts, but if you choose a high configuration with good bag filter system, then you can solve this problem, all the dust will be collected and you can keep your factory to be very clean, thank you very much, thank you.
